Welcome to your February horoscopes! It’s Aquarius season, the stars are bustling with activity, and practically all planetary motion this month is direct.

Aquarius is always ready for revolution.

Aquarius is the fixed sign which rules the 11th house of community and revolution. Its lessons teach us about the causes we care about, and the actions we must take to heal ourselves and our communities. Ruled by unconventional Uranus, Aquarius arrives to subvert norms and turn our conception of reality on its head.

Acting as a bridge between its two neighboring zodiac signs which are at the extremes of pragmatism and idealism (Capricorn and Pisces), Aquarius season is also here to remind us that both actions and ideas are crucial in a collective struggle towards liberation. Aquarius always has the “bigger picture” in mind, and holds space for the emotions of others by seeking justice for the marginalized.

Aquarius is the water bearer. This air sign stands firm and resolute; holding a jug filled with the aquatic depths that Pisces swims in, but never entering it. This is because Aquarius prefers to be a guide. A breeze off of the ocean tide, but never the ocean itself.

It is with this that Aquarius teaches us to believe others. It tells us that we do not necessarily need to feel what others are going through to know it hurts. Rather, it is often our role to look outside of our own bodies when we listen and fight against injustice, or when we are called to action.

On February 3rd Venus moves into Capricorn, where she’ll stay until March. This transit levels up our sense of self worth in emotions surrounding love and relationships. It imbues us with confidence to know what we want out of love, ranging from new business partnerships to current romantic partner(s).

Then, under the light of the New Moon in Aquarius on the 4th of January we are also able to begin a deep shedding process. The sky has no retrograde motion or eclipses pulling us down into nostalgic introspection, plenty of Uranian whimsy from the Aquarius energy guiding its path, and the confident attitude of Venus for a cherry on top. The year finally feels like it’s beginning and opening up a clean slate for whatever you’d like to manifest!

On February 14th the ever energetic planet Mars enters nature loving Taurus. Mars’s influence provides us with sexual drive and passion. It gives us the push we need to jump straight into the actions we want to take. Under the light of Venus-ruled Taurus, Mars is set to wash Valentine’s day 2019 with a cozy and familiar vibe. The emphasis on pleasure and sensuality Taurus brings is sure to keep romance afloat for folx this year, however it may not be the best time to try a new restaurant! Mars is a stubborn planet that likes holding onto what’s familiar. This, mixed with Taurus’s fixed-sign energy is pretty unmoving. Enjoy the company of your partner(s), but save any drastic new ideas you have for a different time.

Finally, the Full moon (also a super Moon!) in Virgo on the 19th of February closes out Aquarius season by bringing you back into step with your home environment. While lots of energies are encouraging revelation and innovation this February, the Full Moon brings you back to an awareness of your physical and mental inventories! Carve out time around the 19th to journal your thoughts, tidy up your studio space, room, kitchen, and/or bathroom.

Our minds are buzzing, and anything feels possible this Aquarius season! With all of this in mind, here are my thoughts for each of the 12 signs.

**A gentle reminder to readers – I encourage you to learn your Rising and Moon signs, and read those predictions as well. Your relationship to the universe is a deep, ancestral one built on all planetary positions when you were born.**
