It’s time to pack away the sweater, scarves, and boots — spring is here! This month, Mishthi Music collaborated with The Kajal Collective to put together a collection of tracks by indie Desi artists that range from garage rock to punk to blues to global bass. The mix is what we like to think of as sunshiny hipster tinged with a slight Bollywood back beat sound. There are a lot of new up-and-coming musicians featured in this mix and we are excited to hear what comes out of them next! If you like a track, be sure to check out the artists for more information.

For more music, be sure to check out Mishthi Music, an online mixtape that highlights music of the South Asian American diaspora, and then some.
